Coverity Thread Analyzer — is first dynamic analysis solution for multi-threaded Java applications that automatically and predictably detects existing and potential race conditions and deadlocks that can cause deadly application behavior.

Coverity Architecture Analyzer — Creates a sophisticated visualization of your software, including an architecture map, call graph visualization, and a dependency structure matrix (DSM).

Coverity Extend™ Static Analyzer — An add-on to Coverity Prevent that enables developers to create and run custom checks to target specific defects and enforce business- or industry-specific compliance standards and requirements.

Coverity Software Readiness Manager — Coverity Software Readiness Manager provides software development managers with objective, actionable information about code quality, risk, code coverage, complexity, architectural integrity, and more. Distribution/Sales: Coverity products are sold through a direct sales force in the U.S., Europe and Japan as well as through select distributors in other countries.

History/Financing: Cash flow positive since the company’s inception, Coverity’s growth was successfully bootstrapped by product sales of code analysis products for 5 years before the company elected to accept it’s first-ever round of funding. In 2008, Coverity accepted $22 Million for a minority position in the company from a combination of Foundation Capital and Benchmark Capital. Coverity is using the funds to extend sales and marketing reach, and to expand its product portfolio through both acquisition and accelerated internal research and development efforts. Toward that end, in 2008 Coverity acquired it’s first two companies: Codefast and Solidware.
